THE BEATLES Rubber Soul (Rare 1965 UK first press 14-track mono vinyl LP on the black & yellow Parlophone label, with 'The Gramophone Co.' & 'Sold In The UK' text, G&L front laminated flipback picture sleeve with rounded ended flipbacks & 'Patents Pending' on the bottom flip. The matrices both end -1, indicating that this is the earliest & hard to find LOUD CUT variant PMC1267)

Condition:
The sleeve shows light wear throughout - the flipbacks remain secure and glossy, whilst the colours on the front are still rich with only a glimpse of ringwear. There are small patches of discolouration mainly to the unlaminated back, with a little light creasing and scuffing to bottom edge.

The vinyl remains in VG condition with light signs of play. Although obviously used, this copy has been reasonably well looked after with spindle marks around the centre hole and no real paper loss - A very respectable example which still holds up well.
Thanks to the deep grooves & heavyweight '60s vinyl, the blemishes/light scuffs are mostly cosmetic in nature. The sonics are still clear & bright, with background noise kept to a minimum & just the odd light click in places.
All in all an respectable, very playable, copy of this desirable first UK 'Loud Cut' pressing at a seriously advantageous price!
