WARLOCK Hellbound (1985 UK 9-track vinyl LP. The thunderous sophomore release from German metal powerhouse Warlock, fronted by the formidable Doro Pesch, one of the most iconic voices in heavy metal. Hellbound sees the band refining their sound into a fierce blend of traditional European metal with a darker, gothic edge and commanding vocal presence.
Loaded with riff-laden anthems like “Hellbound”, “Earthshaker Rock”, and the haunting “Out of Control”, the album delivers pounding drums, searing guitars,and a sense of theatrical menace that helped Warlock stand out among the mid-’80s metal surge. Doro’s soaring, aggressive vocals and the band’s tight musicianship elevate Hellbound beyond its genre roots into classic territory, glossy picture sleeve with picture/lyric inner.
