CORNELIUS Refractions (2026 UK/EU 9-track LP pressed on Black & White Dual Colour Vinyl)

The ninth studio album from Japanese musician and producer Keigo Oyamada, who records as Cornelius. Across nine tracks it sets intricate rhythms and shimmering studio detail against widescreen psychedelia, drawing together decades of sonic exploration. Pitchfork named it among its most anticipated summer releases.

The guest list reaches well beyond Japan. Sean Ono Lennon sings on 'Aeons', Arto Lindsay appears on 'Bad Advice', and Bid of The Monochrome Set features on a cover of a song by his own band.

Cornelius came to international attention in 1997 with Fantasma, which set technicolour pop against microscopic production detail and became a cult reference point for adventurous listeners worldwide. His admirers include Yoko Ono, Damon Albarn, Beck, the Beastie Boys and producer Nigel Godrich. He has worked with Haruomi Hosono and Ryuichi Sakamoto of Yellow Magic Orchestra. More recently, Rosalía chose one of his songs for her Met Gala themed Vogue playlist of all-time favourites. Includes a double-sided printed insert.
