The original UK stereo releases (1966-67) used the 1966 US mix and had a printed "STEREO" logo at the top centre of the front cover. Later stereo releases (1968-69) used the mono cover with a hexagonal gold foil "Stereo" sticker on the back. The records have orange CBS labels. The 1968 US mix was not used in the UK until around 1982.
The labels have 'Bob Dylan' at the top and Blonde On Blonde followed by Record 1/2/3/4. All labels are credited to B. Feldman. Whilst the labels for record one are the rough variety, the labels for record two use the 'newer' smooth finish.
The stamped Matrices in the run off are SDDP 66012 A/1, B/2, C/3 & D/1.
Condition :-
The sleeve shows some light shelfwear overall with a little corner scuffing in places. The laminate has just a few light creases and little wear to the opening edge only. The text on the spine is clear & legible.
This copy has obviously been stored very well indeed.
The vinyl easily grades Excellent with the odd faint hairline visible if held under strong light. The labels are clean and show very minor spindle wear to indicate light to moderate play and no paper loss is noticeable around the hole. All in all an Excellent copy of this Dylan masterpiece!
