COUNT BASIE Live At The Sands (Before Frank) (2013 limited edition Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab 14-track audiophile DSD remastered Ultradisc UHR™ Super Audio CD mastered directly from the original tapes. Originally released as a regular CDin 1998, this fantastic live set was recorded January 26-29 & February 1, 1966 in the Copa Room, Sands Hotel, Las Vegas. From the liner notes: "The band played a short opening session prior to the main event (Sinatra). We have created one long set out of these recordings." Presented in an individually numbered replica LP-style gatefold picture sleeve. Although not sealed, the sleeve shows only the lightest of shelfwear and the contents are Near Mint UDSACD2113)
