Japanese promo sample issue of the limited edition 12-track
digitally remastered SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable
on all CD players], issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead
of the actual release, originally released in 1982, capturing the
legendary rockers live in the US on 5th & 6th November 1981 at
Meadowlands Sports Complex, East Rutherford, New Jersey and
19th December at Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, Virginia; with a
promo stamped disc complete with booklet picture sleeve,
seperate lyric booklet & promo stickered obi-strip UICY-91502)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
