The British rock band Marillion, known for their innovative soundscapes and profound lyrics, has significantly shaped the music world since their inception in the early 1980s. With their 2022 studio album An Hour Before It’s Dark, the band’s highest charting album across the globe (#2 in the UK and Germany, #6 Switzerland), Marillion have shown that they continue to stay as brilliant and vital as ever whilst consistently dodging categorization by crafting distinct, evocative music.
The band is very pleased to present a deluxe edition reissue of their 1997 studio album This Strange Engine. It is a remarkable album characterized by acoustic calm and intimacy whilst offering an atmospheric soundscape with delicate lyrics and gentle melodies.
