VON KARAJAN Beethoven: 9 Symphonien (1965 German Stereo
EIGHT LP box set, generally considered one of the definitive
collections of Beethoven symphonies & also featuring Gundula
Janowitz [Soprano], Hilde Rössel-Majdan [Mezzo-Soprano], Waldemar
Knentt [Tenor], Walter Berry [Baritone] & the Wiener Singverein
under the direction of Reinhold Schmid, complete with full size twenty
two page illustrated libretto in English, all housed in a front pasted
picture box. Not surprisingly, the box shows degree of shelfwear with
a little scuffing and foxing on the back and a bit of discolouration, but
remains unsplit & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with just a
few light surface scuffs to show for over fifty five years SKL101~8)
