FLEETWOOD MAC Mystery To Me (Rocktober 50th Anniversary Edition Ocean Blue Vinyl 2023 UK/EU 12-track LP. Originally released in 1973, Mystery To Me marked a new phase for Fleetwood Macwith Bob Welch's pop sensibilities coming to the fore. Welch contributed half of the album's songs, including the FM radio staples Hypnotized and Keep On Going. Christine McVie adds further depth with standout tracks such as Just Crazy Love, Believe Me, The Way I Feel and the beautifully restrained Why. Also included is a spirited take on For Your Love, originally written by Graham Gouldman and popularised by The Yardbirds. Blending Welch's dreamy pop leanings with McVie's melodic songwriting, Mystery To Me helped pave the way toward the band's later superstardom.
