ROY HARPER Stormcock (Classic 1971 UK 4-track LP on the
'Gramophone Co' Harvest label without EMI boxed
logo, textured gatefold picture sleeve complete with Harvest
inner and rare-as-you-like lyric insert. Now widely regarded
as amongstRoy's finest work, if not the finest, Stormcock was
not so well received by the record company at the time &
consequently sales were slow & steady, rather than dramatic.
The sleeve [VG] shows a degree of ringwear and scuffing as
one would expect on such a design, the lyric sheet has some
spots of discolouration which leave the text unaffected and
the vinyl is Excellent with just a few light signs of play - a
banging copy and the first we have had with the insert!
